About the YZF-R2
The YZF-R2 is the newest member of Yamaha's R-series and made its world debut in India in August 2026. It is not an R15 with a bigger engine: it gets a new 204cc liquid-cooled DOHC motor and a lighter chassis.
Electronics usually found on bigger machines come standard: riding modes, a 5-inch colour TFT with call alerts and navigation, and an assist & slipper clutch. The QS adds a bi-directional quickshifter, and the R2M adds smart-key convenience and premium detailing.
