This policy explains how Raj Motors, a unit of Balaji Enterprises ("Raj Motors", "we"), partnership firm with GSTIN 08ABAFB7206N1ZC, registered at 1/464-A, Chitrakoot Marg, Near Gyan Motors, Vaishali Nagar, Jaipur, Rajasthan 302021, collects and uses personal data through rajmotors.co.in, our showrooms, phone and WhatsApp. We process personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian law.
What we collect
- Enquiry details you give us: name, mobile number, the model, colour and showroom you're interested in, and your message.
- Purchase and finance details when you buy or apply for a loan: address, identity and address proofs (such as Aadhaar and PAN), bank details, and details of any vehicle you exchange.
- Service details: vehicle registration, odometer reading and service history.
- WhatsApp and call records: messages you send us and basic call details.
- Technical data: basic information your browser sends, such as device type and pages visited, which our hosting provider may log for security.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, arrange test rides and share prices and offers you ask for.
- To complete a sale, registration, insurance and finance, and to process warranty claims with India Yamaha Motor.
- To send service reminders and updates about your vehicle.
- To send occasional offers by WhatsApp, SMS or call. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP or telling us.
- To meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your data. We share it only where needed to serve you:
- India Yamaha Motor and its sales company, for vehicle registration, warranty and service records.
- Banks and NBFCs you choose for finance, and insurers for your policy.
- The Regional Transport Office for registration.
- Service providers who help us run our business, such as website hosting, form handling, messaging and CRM tools, who may only use the data on our instructions.
- Authorities where the law requires it.
Website, cookies and maps
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Showroom maps are embedded from Google Maps, and fonts are loaded from Google Fonts; these services may receive your IP address under their own privacy policies. Enquiry forms are processed by our hosting provider, Netlify. WhatsApp links open WhatsApp, which is covered by WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for up to 24 months unless you become a customer. Sale, finance and service records are kept for as long as the law requires, generally up to 8 years for tax and accounting records.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw consent for marketing, or nominate someone to exercise these rights for you. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take care to limit access to people who need it.
